The Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) has congratulated Chinyere Obi-Obasi on the occasion of her birthday. The renowned writer, publisher, master of ceremony, comedienne, banker, rapporteur, and public speaker is a graduate of English Language/Literature and Law. She was called to the Nigerian bar in 1993 and practiced law for seven years before joining the banking sector.

Chinyere Obi-Obasi spent her last five years of practice with Tayo Oyetibo & Co before joining UnityBank Plc. As an accomplished banker, she has contributed immensely to the growth and development of the banking sector in Nigeria. Her vast knowledge and experience have earned her several accolades and recognition in the industry.

Apart from her successful career in the banking sector, Chinyere Obi-Obasi is also an exceptional writer with several published works to her credit. Her book, The Great Fall, was shortlisted for the 2011 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Prize for Literature. This literary masterpiece tells the story of a young girl's struggle to overcome her past and make a better life for herself in the face of overwhelming odds.

As a master of ceremony and comedienne, Chinyere Obi-Obasi has graced several events, bringing laughter and joy to many. Her unique blend of wit and humor has endeared her to many Nigerians and earned her a place in the hearts of millions of fans across the country.
