IBADAN BOOK CLUB MOURNS DEATH OF THE OLUBADAN OF IBADANLAND, OBA LEKAN BALOGUN


 

The Ibadan Book Club (IBC) has expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the passing of the revered Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun. The distinguished monarch peacefully departed this world after a brief illness, leaving behind a legacy of wisdom and leadership. He transitioned to join his ancestors at the age of 81, leaving a void in the hearts of the people of Ibadan.

A statement by the club's founder, Wole Adedoyin, expressed their condolences and acknowledged Oba Lekan Balogun's significant contributions to Ibadan's cultural, social, and intellectual life. The Olubadan's dedication to the city's progress and unity earned him immense respect.
