This workshop is specially crafted for budding poets stepping into the realm of poetry, offering guidance for those unsure of where to begin. It also serves as a valuable refresher for individuals seeking to revisit the core elements of poetry writing.

IZEHI DESTINY UGHULU

Izehi Destiny Ughulu is a multifaceted individual, excelling as an Author and Book Critique, Poet, Haijin, and accomplished Businessman. His poetic prowess has earned him recognition on the global stage, with notable achievements such as being a Golden Haiku Finalist at the Golden Triangle 2022 in Washington DC, USA.

In the literary realm, Izehi stands out as the W.S Merwin Memorial Prize Winner, featured in the prestigious Prism Anthology's August Edition of 2023. His dedication to the art of haiku is further underscored by the Haiku of the Month Award from the Haiku Foundation, USA, bestowed upon him in August 2021.

Izehi's poetic journey extends beyond borders, as evidenced by his Gold Award at the Poetry Symposium in India, specifically in the challenging realm of Sonnet composition. His ability to weave words and capture the essence of emotion has not only resonated with audiences but has also garnered him acclaim from esteemed literary institutions. Izehi Destiny Ughulu continues to leave an indelible mark on the world of literature and poetry.

DANIEL OLAYINKA OLORUNKOSEBI

Daniel Olayinka Olorunkosebi, a graduate of Babcock University in Nigeria and Robert Gordon University in the UK, holds degrees in Information Resources Management and Corporate Communication. Renowned as an award-winning Spoken Word Artist, Stage and Film Enthusiast, Storyteller, Speaker, and Coach for children and teens, he has garnered widespread acclaim for his exceptional talents.

Daniel's dedication to his craft has propelled him to executive roles in various national and international organizations, showcasing his commitment to community and professional involvement. Among these organizations are the Nigerian Library Association (NLA), Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYWN), Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Poetry Enclave, Good Deeds International, English Language Teachers Association of Nigeria, Heart Clinic Chaplain Association, and many others—a testament to his diverse and impactful contributions.

As a highly sought-after voice in his areas of expertise, Daniel continuously seeks new opportunities to foster the development and inspiration of the next generation, encouraging them to reach their fullest potential. His passion, coupled with his extensive experience and involvement, makes him a dynamic force in the realms of spoken word artistry, stage and film, storytelling, and mentorship.

WAHAB OLAMILEKAN

Wahab Olamilekan is a multifaceted individual, serving as a social educator, poet, and graphic designer. In his perspective, life navigates the realms of mortality, suffering, and monotony, challenging conventional notions by suggesting a world improved by the absence of hope, soul, and love. Paradoxically, he views love as the paramount motivation for existence. His literary and artistic creations have been featured in notable platforms such as Afrorep, Artmosterrific Issue 2, and ANA Review 2022, among others. Hailing from Ibadan, he weaves his insights into compelling narratives and visual expressions.

AWE JÉSÙJOBA ISAAC

Awe Jésùjoba Isaac is a versatile individual known by his poetic alias, 'Jọba the poète' or simply 'Jọba'. Embracing the dual identity of poet and fashion model, Awe is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, where he earned a degree in Counsellor Education.

Awe's poetic journey began in 2008 during his secondary school years, and since then, he has dedicated himself to refining his craft. Evolving beyond traditional poetry, he explored the realm of spoken word poetry, debuting his performance skills in 2018.
