IBADAN BOOK CLUB TO HOLD SENSITISATION WORKSHOP ON LEGAL DEPOSIT/ISSN, ISBN FOR WRITERS, EDITORS, PUBLISHERS
The Ibadan Book Club (IBC) has announced plans to host a Sensitisation Workshop featuring Mrs. Oluyemisi Odubayo, Head of the Oyo State Branch of the National Library of Nigeria (NLN), on August 31, 2024, at the Oyo State Library Board in Ibadan, starting at 12 PM. This workshop is designed for writers, editors, and publishers, focusing on the critical processes of Legal Deposit, International Standard Serial Number (ISSN), and International Standard Book Number (ISBN). Mrs. Odubayo, a respected figure in library management and documentation, will lead the discussions, providing her expertise to guide participants on best practices in publishing and intellectual property protection.
In a press release by Wole Adedoyin, the Founder of Ibadan Book Club, Mrs. Odubayo’s role as lead facilitator stressed the Club’s dedication to offering high-quality education and resources to the literary community.
