IBADAN AMAZON KINDLE PUBLISHING SEMINAR STARTS TODAY

 

The online (WhatsApp) class of the much-awaited Ibadan Amazon Kindle Publishing Seminar starts today, Thursday, 27^th day of January 2022 by 8PM.

 

A statement issued by both the Coordinator and Secretary of the club, Ayobami Odunyemi and Mary Ndukwo said the training is for three days while the grand finale will take place on the 29^th day of January, 2022 at the Oyo State Library Board, Opposite Cocoa House, Ibadan by 12PM prompt.

 

According to the release, the requirements for participation are; Laptop or Android  phone (64 bits compliant), Data / Internet connection, Note book for taking down notes and a pen.

The lecture will be handled by Adetoun Adebisi Oyelude. Adetoun Adebisi Oyelude is a Chartered Librarian, Researcher, Entrepreneur, Master E-Book Creator and Publisher. She holds B. A. (Hons.) English Studies, M. L. S., PhD Library Science (in view). She is well travelled, academic, scholarly, emotionally intelligent, with high integrity. Adetoun Adebisi Oyelude  is a member of the Nigerian Library Association. (NLA); American Library Association (ALA); International Literacy Association (ILA); IASSIST etc.

 

As at the time of this seminar, Adetoun Adebisi Oyelude is the Deputy University Librarian (Readers' Services/Special Collections), University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

 

The Ibadan Book Club consists of a group of people who meet periodically to discuss the book they have read and exchange those books. Club members encourage each other and learn to read with a critical mind, articulating their opinions about a particular book with others. Certain types of books not available or read receive attention through the book club.
