OLATUNBOSUN, DENJA, AGOI, EREDIAUWA TO HEADLINE 2024 WORLD BOOK DAY CELEBRATION IN LAGOS
The literary world is set to converge in Lagos for the much-anticipated 2024 World Book Day celebration, organized by Hope for Life Initiative in collaboration with the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs. Scheduled to take place at the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs on April 30th, 2024, this event promises to be a remarkable celebration of literature and knowledge under the theme "Read Your Way."
In a press statement issued by the CEO of Hope for Life Initiative, Kendi Aig-Imoru, it was revealed that the festivities will commence at 12:00 noon, preceded by an exhibition starting at 10:00 am. The event aims to foster a culture of reading and learning, emphasizing the transformative impact of books on individuals and societies alike.
The excitement surrounding the event is palpable, as the lineup of distinguished writers and scholars promises insightful discussions and engaging discourse on the power of books and the written word. Leading the charge are the esteemed quartet consisting of Dr. Olatunbosun Taofeek, Mallam Denja Abdulahi, Sir Folu Agoi, and Adesuwa O. Erediauwa.

Sir Folu Agoi is the President of Nigerian Centre for PEN International (aka PEN NIGERIA; PEN International Association of Poets, Playwrights, Editors, Essayists and Novelists and association of Writers with branches in over 140 countries) recipients of several awards – including Prof. Wole Soyinka Award for Literature.
ADESUWA O. EREDIAUWA
Adesuwa O. Erediauwa is a senior research fellow in the International Economic Relations Division of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Lagos, Nigeria. Her focus is on economic interaction among sovereign nations. She has a PhD in Economics.
