SYNW Extends Its Condolences To Mallam Denja Abdullahi On The Passing Of His Mother

 

SYNW EXTENDS ITS CONDOLENCES TO MALLAM  DENJA ABDULLAHI ON THE PASSING OF HIS MOTHER

 


The Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) extends its deepest condolences to Mallam Denja Abdullahi, the immediate past President of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), and his family on the passing of his beloved mother, Alhaja Amina Abdullahi. She peacefully departed this life earlier today at her residence in Ilorin, off CAC Church, Oke Anu, Gaa Akanbi.

 

Alhaja Amina Abdullahi will be laid to rest in accordance with Islamic customs and traditions in her hometown of Agbaja, Lokoja, Kogi State tomorrow morning. The 8th day Fidau Prayer will be held at the family residence in Ilorin to honor her memory.

 

SYNW President, Wole Adedoyin made this known in a condolence message he issued which was made available to newsmen in Osogbo today, Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

 

The Society of Young Nigerian Writers joins Mallam Denja Abdullahi and his family during this difficult time, offering heartfelt condolences and support. Alhaja Amina Abdullahi was not only a cherished mother but also a pillar of strength, whose impact was felt within her family and the larger community.

 

As an esteemed member of the literary community, Denja Abdullahi has made significant contributions to the Nigerian literary landscape, serving as the President of the Association of Nigerian Authors. His commitment to promoting and advancing Nigerian literature is highly regarded, and his loss is deeply felt by the literary fraternity.

 

The SYNW recognizes the importance of honoring and remembering Alhaja Amina Abdullahi's life and legacy. Her dedication to her family and community, as well as her unwavering support for her son's endeavors, will forever be cherished.

 

During this period of mourning, the Society of Young Nigerian Writers encourages friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to reach out to Denja Abdullahi and his family, offering their condolences and support.
